Art Every Day Month - day 8

'Elsie' - Patterdale Terrier cross in ink and gouache
on recycled card 135mm x 135mm

Back to the dog paintings today and this is an adorable wee Patterdale Terrier cross who I'd have called Elsie.

Happily, this little lady wasn't at the rescue centre too long before she found her forever home.

Cute as a button.

This is my submission for AEDM Day 8.

I'm linking up with Paint Party Friday.  Those of you kind enough to visit my blog who aren't participating in the Art Every Day Month challenge - I've been blogging and creating every day this week which is a first for me and which is why today's blog is so short!

  11. It's easy to see why she didn't stay long in the rescue centre before finding a home, she looks so appealing. A beautiful painting.

  25. The dog is a fantastic likeness, what talent. I am thrilled she found a new home. I feel so very bad for all the homeless pets, especially the older ones who have been discarded in old age.
